Susan Mavor, MGDC
Principal, Communication Designer, Public

Trained as a theatre designer, Susan is an expert in communication design, whose work includes brand identity, public information campaigns and graphic design in the built environment. James Boothroyd has worked with her over a decade, beginning when she was principal of Metaform Communication Design, a small, award-winning agency.  From First Nations community projects to Olympic stamps, collectible books and outreach for number of west coast museums, she is passionate about creating compelling cultural experiences. Although Ontario born and bred, she feels she can fairly say she's "from here now," having been living the West Coast dream since way before there was even such thing as the internet .

Neil McBean

Rival Schools

Neil McBean is Strategy Director at award-winning digital agency Rival Schools.  Rival Schools is an end-to-end, strategy to delivery digital studio providing clients with a range of consulting and creative services. With a background in content strategy and creation, Neil has overseen projects for a range of clients including Adobe, Puma, Motorola, Samsung, Bio-Rad and Nike. 

Erika Rathje
Designer

Erika Rathje works with non-profits and small businesses who make positive impacts in areas including the environment, health, social justice, local food, and culture. Following several years leading design at the David Suzuki Foundation, she continues to pursue her mission to make the world healthier, safer and fairer through her own social enterprise, working with clients like Leadnow.ca and Dogwood Initiative. Erika specializes in responsive web design and development (for mobile-friendly websites) and print design. She is involved in local activism and volunteering, and is a member of the National Sustainability Committee of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada. You’ll find her cycling, enjoying nature or knitting in her spare time.
